Our mission at Carolina International School is to discover each student’s unique gifts, to nurture them as global stewards, and astound them with what they can achieve.
Carolina International School opened September 13, 2004, just outside Charlotte in Cabarrus County, with grades K-7. We now offer grades K-10 and plan to add 11th and 12th grades when we complete construction on a new facility. CIS is open to all North Carolina students, tuition-free. Our average class size is 21 students, with approximately 42 students per grade.

The May meeting of the CIS Finance Committee is being moved to Tuesday, May 6th, at 4:15pm, so that it precedes the monthly board meeting on May 8.
