African Dance Company Conducts Workshops
at Carolina International School

HARRISBURG, N.C. - The color and rhythm of traditional African music and dance enriched Carolina International School students’ cultural awareness this week. Ballet Warraba, an international dance company that performs traditional music and dance from Guinea, West Africa, conducted dance workshops for every class on January 9 and 10. All 370 students enrolled at CIS participated in the two-day event.

The interactive dance workshops are in keeping with the school’s curriculum focus on international studies.
