UNiform Guidelines

Students at Carolina International School are required to wear a standard school uniform, unless given administrative permission for exceptions like Field Day or other casual dress occasions. The standard uniform described below can be purchased at any large retailer.

You can order your children’s polo shirts through the school. The shirts will come in long sleeve and short sleeve styles.  There is no extra charge for the logo.  The white colored shirt is the only one required to purchase.  The red and navy colored shirts are available with the logo as well. This is a great opportunity to give our school logo shirts for gifts and get our name out in the public.  Make checks payable to CIS Athletics and turn checks along with order forms into the main office.  Thank you for supporting the Athletics programs at CIS!

Physical Education uniforms must be purchased through the school using this PE/Polo uniform order form.

These can be accommodated in our school provided they are not distracting. The school administration reserves the right and will exercise the responsibility to require changes in clothing, grooming, or jewelry that distract from the learning environment.

General guidelines include natural hair colors only, minimal use of jewelry and make-up, and skirt length near the knees.

Occasional the school administration will announce Casual Dress Days, with the following guidelines:

  • No undergarments showing
  • No holes, cuts, tears, or slits in clothing
  • No sleeveless shirts
  • No clothing with reference to drugs, violence, sexuality, or other inappropriate language or graphics
