We hope that all of our returning and waiting families are having a wonderful summer. While you are relaxing — a brief update regarding the start of the 2005 school year.

The first day of school will be August 22, 2005.

Kindergarten ONLY will have staggered starts:

Monday, August 22, 2005	Students whose last names begin with	A-B
Tuesday, August 23, 2005	Students whose last names begin with	C-H
Wednesday, August 24, 2005	Students whose last names begin with	I-Q
Thursday, August 25, 2005	Students whose last names begin with	R-Z
Friday, August 26, 2005	All students will be in attendance

Information regarding open houses and updated lists of classroom supplies list will be available at the end of July after Dr. Beall returns from Ghana.

Teacher assignments and class lists will not be available until Open House in August.

At the last board meeting the uniform policy was confirmed. In order to ease compliance, the standard gray shorts and traditional blue t-shirt with logo would be available to order at the first open house.

Summer Availability:

Official summer hours for the Carolina International School are 10-2 Tuesday through Thursday and closed for the 4th of July week. The staff will be intermittently available at other times, as we get the school ready to open on time. There is no one scheduled to be available to answer the central number, so please be prepared to leave a message or ring through to reach a staff member:
