Board of Directors
The school is governed by a Board of Directors, which consists of seven to fifteen members. The responsibility of the board is to ensure the steady progress of the school in accordance with local and national educational standards.
The Carolina International School Board of Directors meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at either CIS or Harrisburg Town Hall, see schedule below for location. All board meetings are open to the public. Feel free to join us at the following dates for the 2011-2012 school year.
The members of the Board of Directors at Carolina International School invite interested educators, business executives and CIS parents to apply for membership to the Board of Directors.
The Directors are generally from the following professional organizations: Banking, Marketing, Finance, Educational Law, Public Relations, Architecture, Construction, and Parent Representatives.
If you have any interest to serve as a "volunteer" member or the Board of Directors contact the Director of CIS to request an application. Please provide resume and three references. "Volunteer" on the Board and serve on other Board Committees.
