Student Council
The Student Council is a group of officers, classroom representatives, committees, and advisors who work together to promote school spirit, make important team decision, and provide special events and projects for the school community and interest of students.
This year the Student Council has a number of objectives that center on the core values of CIS: Respect, Responsibility, Solutions and Service. Several committees have been formed with the intent of achieving our goals for the year.
Committees that have been formed are: Committee for Peer Tutoring, Committee for Announcements, Assistance Committee that will raise money for International Charities, Ambassadorial Committee in charge of arranging student guides for Open House and International visitors, an Assembly Committee that will support weekly assemblies and create some of them, as well.
The Student Council also has an Activity Committee that is in charge of creating, organizing and sponsoring student activities.
Narayan – President
Hello everyone! I’m Vivian and I am the Student Council President here at Carolina International School. I was born in New York and moved here in 2001. I came to CIS during the inaugural year of 2004. I know that this school has really instilled values in me that I will use for the rest of my life.
Konsouh – Vice President
My name is Khadiga and I am student Council Vice President. I am currently in the 9th grade here at CIS. Some goals I want to achieve this year include student dances, special programs and activities for both students and staff.
Roditti – Secretary
Hi, My name is Niccolo and I am 12 years old and I like to read and to play soccer and video games. I am proud to be the secretary. I will make sure that the student’s voices are heard this year.
Ejim – Treasurer
Hello, my name is Naomi. I was elected Treasurer of Carolina International School. I was excited to be granted this position, and I hope to make this year memorable. Thank you very much!

- Finance and Academic – Niccolo Roditti (Could attend grant if allowed to be dismissed from class. He has Spanish at that time and is a native Spanish Speaker).
