CIS PTSO

Who are we?

The Carolina International School Parent, Teacher, Student Organization is the supportive arm of CIS administration; it is comprised of volunteers from the CIS community. The CIS community votes the board into position for a two-year term. We also have several committees comprised of parent & staff volunteers: Athletics, Media, Grant Writing, Publicity, Hospitality, Special Events, Fundraising, and Campus Beautification.

What does the PTSO do?

We coordinate many events including spirit nights, fundraisers, teacher appreciation, and campus beautification days. Our goals are to provide family activities and fund raising to promote positive school and community relationship in order to enhance our children’s educational environment, support a quality education, and promote a positive working environment. Funds raised through the PTSO have gone towards a new playground on campus, teacher supplies, Junior Achievement, special events, and buildings and grounds improvements.

How do I get involved?

The PTSO is open and free of charge to any parent, grandparent, or guardian of a CIS student or any member of the CIS staff or administration. Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6:30pm on campus in the main building. There are no commitment requirements! Please email all questions and commets to cisptso@gmail.com
