Carolina International School BASP will operate from 7:00-8:15am and 4:00-6:00pm. When dropping your child off for morning care, you must escort your student and sign them in. When picking up your child you must sign them out. Sign in/out will always be held in the Media Center.
The BASP staff consists of the director and assistants. There will be direct teacher supervision at all times, with a 1:12 teacher/student ratio. The behavior standards will be the same as for CIS classes: All students are expected to respect each other, cooperate with teachers, and accept responsibility for their own actions. Students will have study time, snacks, and supervised activities.

You may submit your payment via Cash, Check, or Money Order.
Note: Reoccurring payments made through your banks automatic bill paying feature will receive a 10% discount. These payments must be received on time, as one late payment will result in the loss of this discount. More than 3 late payments made via your banks automatic bill paying feature will result in the removal of this form of payment as an option.
Fees are payable each MONDAY, and are considered late after 6:00pm. A late fee of $10 per day will be assessed for accounts not paid on Monday.

The BASP director and staff duties end at 6:00 pm. It is very important that your child be picked up on time. A late fee of $10 for the first minute you are late and $1 per minute thereafter will be enforced. An invoice will be sent to inform the parent the amount owed in late fees. If late fees go unpaid, the family will not be able to use the after school program.

BASP will provide afternoon snacks and beverages. If your child has any food allergies, please send your child to school with their own snack. Kindly inform the instructors of BASP if your child is allergic to a particular food or beverage.

Payments are due each Monday to the BASP director during drop off or pickup. There is a charge of $10 for each day the payment is late for a maximum of ten days. When school is closed for holidays, you are not expected to pay for those days. Payment is expected if the student is absent. We will allow two weeks (10 school days) within the school year for students to be absent due to sickness, appointment and vacation. However, beyond the two week margin of time payment is expected for sickness, appointment and vacation.

There is an additional program on half days available to all students. It will be from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. If you wish to have your child remain in the after school program on half days there will be a charge of $25.00 required by separate check marked “half day”. This payment is due prior to the half day program.
Children must be supervised at all times on campus. If faculty members wish to have their children remain in the after school program on half days while attending meetings notify the BASP director the week before the half day. A fee of $5 per hour will be charged to faculty members. The BASP students have preference for the half day program. Available openings will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
In the event you are in need of BASP on an "as needed" basis or in the case of an emergency, you may do so. You will still be required to submit a registration form as this gives emergency contact information and any medical information. The drop-in rate is $20 with a $5 discount for additional siblings.
