International Trip to England - Ireland - Wales

An international trip to England, Ireland and Wales is planned for June 2011.
Students travel for 11 days and participate in the following activities:

Day 1 - Arrive in London

Day 2 - Take a walking tour of London:
The Strand Trafalgar Square Leicester Square Covent Garden,

Day 3 - Take a guided tour of London:
Big Ben and Houses of Parliament Piccadilly Circus St. Paul’s Cathedral Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled) Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle

Day 4 - Oxford • Stratford • North Wales
Take a tour of Oxford Visit Brasenose College Take a tour of Stratford Visit Shakespeare’s birthplace Visit the gardens at Anne Hathaway’s cottage Travel to North Wales

Day 5 - North Wales • Dublin
Visit a Welsh castle Travel through Snowdonia National Park to Holyhead Take a ferry from Holyhead to Dublin

Day 6 - Dublin
Take a guided tour of Dublin: Georgian squares See the Book of Kells at Trinity College Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Day 7 - County Kerry
See Cashel Rock Visit Blarney Castle Travel to County Kerry

Day 8 - County Kerry
Travel through Killarney Take an excursion to the Ring of Kerry Visit the Bog Village Museum

Days 9-10 - Galway
Visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park See the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren Take an excursion to Connemara Enjoy a free afternoon in Galway

Day 11 - Depart for home
